There is an extremely easy way to get this glitch to work 100% of the time.

 

 

Firstly, the best map i find to do the glitch on is office, because there is a view of the CT Spawn in the details menu. Here are concise instructions:

 

1) In console before you join a server type bind / "chooseteam;spectate"

2) Join a server, Office 24/7 servers are the best.

3) Press 'OK' and wait for the round to end, leaving the team choose menu up.

4) Hold 'TAB' so you have an un-obstructed view of spawn.

5) Wait for the CT's to start moving, and you hear "Ok lets go".

6) Wait a good 1second after the CT's move out, release 'TAB', and press "/1//" (excluding speech marks), not ludicrously quickly, but not slowly either. You should then spawn as a spectator with 1hp.

7) People get frozen if you fly into them in 3rd Person 'Free Roam' mode, or just simply spec them in the 1st person.

 

Enjoy this glitch while you can, Valve will no doubt have it fixed in the near future.

 

 

*Note: /1// only works if there are spaces on terroris (Team 1), if the terrorist team is full it works just the same with /2//.

OMG fuckin hell. You can FREEZE almost all physics objects!

You can freeze doors too, so for example on cs_assualt if you free spec and leave your bugged spectator model in the door, it will not open.

Also, here's one to try, free fly spectate, then keep watching someone in fly mode. Wait till they're about to throw a nade, and if you time it right, get in front of them so the grenade is thrown in your direction. The grenade will freeze in mid-air and blow them up!

Just to note, i've noticed people still using this glitch, even after the patch. I don't know how though, I might look more into it.

 

It happened on a surf map, I was stopped in mid-air and I immeaditly knew someone was using it. Looked in Spectator and saw something with a blank name. Any ideas? I've tried the original way but it won't work.

yes someone today used the glitch on me. So i searched for it and found answers here. But unfortunatley i have been able to use it. Ill try and see if it is still possible.

yeah it still works. I did it yesterday, same way too

shit i couldnt do it, but i never did it before so i dont know if i am doing anything wrong. I think i wont be able to do it becuase i have tried and tried and it doesnt work. Too bad i didnt learn about this before yesterday, i wouldve had tons of fun.
