I made some demo's of some idiots shouting at me on their mic on CS using Fraps, but the demo's are saved as .avi or something and they have a large filesize. So, I was wondering what a good program is that I can use to convert from .avi to .mpg and also reduce filesize with not too much loss of quality?

Thanks

try a program called S PORKEH

its really good it will transfer french to englsish loL

Win AVI. I think DVD Santa converts .avi to .mpeg, both very good reliable programs.

It's in Fraps documentation. Press help on video tab.

basically, open file with vdub, append file if you have more than 1 fraps-created file. choose video compression -> divx, and save it as avi.

Vegas 4.0 or even Windows Media Maker work.

Fraps doesn't compile it's recorded video at hand, that's why your files are so huge, you need to put them in one of the programs listed above, by me or someone else's when you save them, 2 gigs of video is now 20-30MB, and with better quality.

I personally prefer Vegas, but WMM comes pre-packaged with Windows, so meh.
