My current specs are as follow:

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (2.1ghz)

512mb ram

bfg geforce 6600gt oc video card

Now what I'm wondering is, what is the best socket A processor out there for me to upgrade to? I took a look at the sempron 3000+ ( http://cgi.ebay.ca/AMD-Sempron-3000-Socket-A-CPU_W0QQitemZ6815525812QQcategoryZ99236QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting ) but I'm wondering if I can see a difference between the two if I upgrade.

I'm also looking to buying another stick of 512mb ram, keep in mind this is all for the future game "HL2 Aftermath"

thx

#1 Your graphics card and #2 preventing your system from cacheing out will provide the best game preformance.

Um.... your current CPU should be fine.
