Wouldn't it be good if someone made one to make better rages? If anyone helps me hack into this one forum, there is a way to get 3000 dollars out of it. They are having a fundraiser and the password for the paypal account is in the admins inbox. The idiot even said so. Anyone have any links/useful comments on phpbb hacking? Or just to even gain access to admins control board? Anyone who wants to help me on this will get a even cut of the money if we actually get it. K?

November 5, 200519 yr there are loads of phpbb forum exploits out, just find a forum using an older version than the lastest one and there will be loads, its not hard to find them. I used one to rage quakeworld forums bout a year ago ... still waiting for them to get me back

Then replace words like "the", "of", "and" etc with stupidities like "myg0t pwned y00", "I suck donkey dick for a living", etc. Also add a few subforums saying "******s only forum" or something like that. And finally, IP ban all the moderators, and when you're done fucking around, ban yourself. BTW thanks r00t

I'm not sure if he can regain access, but since he controls the webspace the forum is on, he can just completely wipe clean the webspace, and start a new forum on it.
November 7, 200519 yr They can with a proxy. Just create a new usergroup like "owned" and add everyone to it but you and the root admin. Change the root admin's password and bingo, you have control and all they can do is cry like babies. Also, change " " (a space) to something like lemonparty in the imagetags in the word censor to make sure they have the most rage. also, for exploits: http://www.milw0rm.com
November 7, 200519 yr noob question: how do I complie/run codes posted on milworm? It depends on what language they're written in. Most of the remote injection exploits that I use are coded in Perl. To run perl exploits you have to first install activestate activeperl. Make sure to check the "Add .pl extension" box during install. Then you have to copy the code into whatever text editor you use (I use notepad). Take that and switch the drop down bar from *.txt to *all files. Then save the code as whatever.pl. After that, open command prompt, drag in the script, and use it.
November 7, 200519 yr If the guy who manages the site does daily/weekly backups, it'd take him like 2 minute to load a backup of the database and update the forums to the latest version. In my experience though, any site still running the old versions of PHPBB has extremely incompetent "admins". :P
