November 6, 200519 yr http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1567868&CatId=0 this is what i have works great if you can afford two your set for a while at least
November 6, 200519 yr If the rest of your PC is sound you can even afford to go to a Ati 9800XT But if youve got Money ATi Radeon X800/Nvidia 6800GT Dont go for the Nvidia 7 series unless youve got PCI Express Mobo and youve got money to spend Also you should get a PCI card as AGP is dying out, very qucikly.. PCI-E (express) is the new type of GFX card, but your PSU and Mobo must support them, Just to be safe go for PCI as im sure your Mobo will have a few PCI slots free.. The reason i say dont get AGP is that by next year, the card wont be able to keep up with the latest games/technologys Hope that all helps
November 6, 200519 yr get a 9600 xt and overclock it for agp 8x if u r pci express then go with the geforce 7 series
November 6, 200519 yr 9600 can not run new games, its old. and overclock it to run agp 8x? are you retarded? the card is agp 8x, all new cards are 8x or PCI-e, its the motherboard that may not support it.
November 6, 200519 yr i have $400 canadian to buy a new video card... what should i spend on in order to survive for the next 6 months or so and runs well with current FPS games? i guess i need to save up to $900 to buy BFG GeForce Ultra Video Card (6800)   seriously my radeon9600 128mb is starting to piss me off because i can't even run hdr in DOD :'( although i'm more cared about running other games (in high quality) such as FEAR, SERIOUS SAM2 and QUAKE4 lag sucks :snivel:

November 7, 200519 yr ATI Radeon 9800 Pro... inexpensive, and gets the job done, and its better than alot of other cards. $167
