November 10, 200519 yr Databases are usually encrypted so even if you got hold of one you would'nt learn anything from it as you seem to be a retard.
November 10, 200519 yr The most simple way would be to find an exploit for the software they're using (I'm guessing you're an idiot and need help hacking a php-nuke, phpbb, etc. website, so any info you get is just going to confuse you.). Just search google and you'll find a list of the latest exploits for the software, as you're actually asking for help I seriously doubt you'd know how to use any of them or get the "un-encypted password (via brute-force or a dictionary attack)", just give up and get back to struggling at school.
November 10, 200519 yr you can use a program called intellitamper which scans websites for databases (.db) and other unsecure links helping you to gain access as an admin etc.

I seriously doubt he's going after like Bank of America or something's website. The only thing "encrypted" in a non-commercial site database would probably be password hashes for user accounts. For "stealing" a database, find a way to access to access their web administration interface (e.g. PHPMyAdmin for MySQL), or get shell access to the server and export it manually. Although the first option is probably more plausible... especially if you can exploit a poorly written site into including a remote file (if allow_url_fopen is on) and using show_source() to say, view their forum/site configuration files. Then you'd have a working user/pass to work with.
