November 24, 200519 yr lol i was only posting this to see what people would think of it dont mind the trolls, all they can do its flame and spam forums. Altough floppys are outdated and it only gives you a little more amount of space, this is kinda of useful.
November 24, 200519 yr This wouldve been great uhmm... 10 years ago ? This concept was around 10 yrs ago. The first Windows95 disks shipped with a larger capacity than 1.44 MB to prevent piracy (good luck making copies). All you are doing is altering the File Allocation Table. In reality, a floppy disk is 2MB in size. The File Allocation Table is what reduces the size down to 1.44MB.
November 24, 200519 yr There is a process similar to this for HDD's. You can get somtimes upto an extra 50gig back...you use norton ghost and a few other pieces
November 26, 200519 yr I think it's cool. Means I can fit a few more NES roms onto a floppy for the shitty computers at my school. Some of them don't even have USB ports, very few have them in any easily accessible place. Thanks.
