dont mind the trolls, all they can do its flame and spam forums.

Altough floppys are outdated and it only gives you a little more amount of space, this is kinda of useful.

This concept was around 10 yrs ago.

 

The first Windows95 disks shipped with a larger capacity than 1.44 MB to prevent piracy (good luck making copies). All you are doing is altering the File Allocation Table.

 

In reality, a floppy disk is 2MB in size. The File Allocation Table is what reduces the size down to 1.44MB.

There is a process similar to this for HDD's. You can get somtimes upto an extra 50gig back...you use norton ghost and a few other pieces

I think it's cool. Means I can fit a few more NES roms onto a floppy for the shitty computers at my school. Some of them don't even have USB ports, very few have them in any easily accessible place.
