November 26, 200519 yr Don't get a GeForce 6600. Get a 6600gt. It's Nvidia, but it's a VERY good deal. It shouldn't empty your wallet, and it'll play all the newest games, if not at very high detail levels/resolutions. It's a good budget card.
November 26, 200519 yr Do you have a PCI-Express MOBO? If so.. 256Mb Sapphire PCI-E ATI X850 TV/DVI Crossfire Retail http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=292173 if not then your probably going for an AGP 256MB Power Color Radeon X800PRO-TD (D-Sub, DVI, TV-Out) http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=147308 See with AGP you get a better card and its cheaper.. but, PCI-E are faster in the rate that they send and recieve the data. Powercolour are better than Sapphire.. Ive got a Powercolour AGP 9800XT, yea it sucks After looking up this, im defo buying a PCI for Xmas Hope that helped
