Ok, im having trouble again choosing a graphics card. I want an ATI card, thats not too expensive. £250 max tbh. Whats the best to go for? :ghugugh:

find 1 yourself...its not hard. Just buy 1 closest to your price range you can probably pick up x800 im not to sure on prices now.

Don't get a GeForce 6600. Get a 6600gt. It's Nvidia, but it's a VERY good deal. It shouldn't empty your wallet, and it'll play all the newest games, if not at very high detail levels/resolutions.

 

It's a good budget card.

Do you have a PCI-Express MOBO?

 

If so..

if not then your probably going for an AGP

See with AGP you get a better card and its cheaper.. but, PCI-E are faster in the rate that they send and recieve the data.

 

Powercolour are better than Sapphire.. Ive got a Powercolour AGP 9800XT, yea it sucks

 

After looking up this, im defo buying a PCI for Xmas
