November 30, 200519 yr microphone is a good idea, but for better pickup, you could get a headphone extension with two male ends, and plug one directly from your sound output to your microphone, then use: start -> all programs -> accesories -> entertainment -> sound recorder Radio Shack, a few $$
November 30, 200519 yr Author No, I mean is there anyway to do it without a microphone? I mean just catching what's being played through your speakers and recording it?
November 30, 200519 yr yes, there are several programs out there that allow you to grab your speakers output and save it to .mp3 format; I've got one called "Advanced MP3 WMA Recorder" that works pretty well.
