Ok guys i know you all know loads about computers, and i need some RAM (preferably 2gb) from http://www.ebuyer.co.uk and i dont know what im looking for. I want some good RAM (good speeds etc) and i dont really want it over £200.

Help appreciated :)

Edit - im not planning on overclocking as im on a dual core and itll be quite complicated i think....

fuck.. i was just looking at ebuyer... things in the UK are flippin' cheap

depends. you have ddr slots or shitty sd slots. check pls k?

open case. look at RAM slots. see if there is only 1 bump or 2 in the slot. that narrows your search down a bit. also check in BIOS what speed RAM your comp can handle.

lfmao y wood yu want 2 gigs of ram? thtz such a waste of money, ur pc wont even use half of the ram unless ur an ubergamerer nad play liek 8 gaems at once.. here in Canada u can get like 1 gb DDR Ram 4 #$99.99, I dont no about in the UK.

Two reasons: Upgradeability. In a year or so, 2GB of ram will be needed to run high end games, and, if you do any kind of video editing/encodeing ram plays a huge role in how fast you can work.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
