ok i have a Dell Dimension 4600 computer.... i recently asked GotFrag Hardware if my case is an ATX or not.... they declared it was not an ATX case

after i found this out i got really pissed because now i have no idea what type of case to get for my computer... my 2nd place to come to was here and i would really love some help for finding a nice (low price 60-100$) case for my Dell Dimension 4600... much help is appreciated no flames plz

make one out of cardboard and spray paint it. then wire LED's on the outside and duct tape some fans to it. you have a ricer case for 20 dollars.

Dell likes to make it's parts fit only in their cases, I'm not sure if they did that with your computer, but it's a good chance.

Yeah, post pics.

sadly best i can find right now... fucking hate dell wow

buttsecks?:gaysex:

from wat i read the motherboard are atx but use a non standard atx power supply connector, make sure u get one of these for the new case as it will probably come with a new powersupply http://www.endpcnoise.com/cgi-bin/e/dellconverter.html (or something liek it w/e) If u want to be truely sure that your case is atx, get the dimensions and distance between the screw holes for an atx board and compare to yours)

why can't these OEM companies just build a decient...heck compatable computer. they always have to invent their own fuckin plugs and connectors so nothing ever works. sorry rant lol.

ATX should be standard for the parts in the case, onlt think that you would have to mess with is the power supply as dell likes to make thier own odly shaped ones that only fit in that specific case. other than hat you should be fine, just don't pet your dog and drag your socks on the carpet as you switch your part to the new case. DAMN YOU ESD!!! RIP dev's tv card :tear:
