January 6, 200421 yr lol squarepusher...comcast cable internet=$40 a month...my test was whith three other machines connected to my line at the time, one of which was running an apache server, all of which were running a script which requires a total of 17 webpage connections (XML and RSS feed scavengers) between them, and an FTP...with all that traffic through a single modem, I STILL pulled 1733Kbps on the same test you ran for your results. ain't it nice that uncapping your modem is still free? Some damned nice connections out there, tho... Be nice if everyone runing >2mbps would post what type of connection, how they managed to get it, and what tweaking they've done.
