Posted December 17, 200519 yr i haven't posted here in awhile.. i've been noticing the threads have been steadily getting more stupid/nerdy. screw it though, i don't want to start a whole 'what u talkin about' thing. anyWAYS, i finally decided to scan some pics from my art class using scanner at school. it was annoying because on the clint and fruit pic i had to scan it in seperate parts and attach them in photoshop, and i barely had any time to perfectly put them together, last day of school.. 40 minutes a class. my first project (i was just sketching up untill now and art teacher made me do other shit) was with just a thin felt tipped felt.. and a dead bug the art teacher found and not damaged that much (untill i finished with it, my friends ripped off some legs by playing with the bug too much) http://notacult.com/sg/randomsketches/CRICKET.jpg my second project, I decided to draw some famous gusy. I found this cool dark pic of clint eastwood and decided to crosshatch it. you'll notice in this pic that I decided to use a rougher cross hatching technique than the cricket. btw for both ink pics i started with freeform pencil (otherwords not gay tracing or grids) http://notacult.com/sg/randomsketches/CLINTEASTWOOD.jpg my second project, art teacher just threw some fake fruit at me and told me to draw it... with chalk. she was saying how i need to loosen up and not be so tight (oo gross) says how i'm good at detailed things, so with the chalk pic i only really used pencil for the outlines for the fake fruit. even after doing that pic, though, she still says i'm tight, lols. http://notacult.com/sg/randomsketches/FRUIT.jpg this last one was just really quick. i had some time to kill before christmas break so she made me do this. i just designed some guy, then photocopied him and cut out peices of him, then glued the peices onto thicker paper and cut it out again, then just glued all the peices together. then I get a paint roller and painted the cutout guy then just stuck him on another peice of paper to get that. this was a print, so i did a bunch of others too. http://notacult.com/sg/randomsketches/PRINT.jpg comments? :naughtyd:

December 17, 200519 yr eventually you're going to be making a lot of money. i hope. you've got more talent than a lot of the people who've posted their hand drawn stuff and i really hope this takes off for you because you've got a style for drawing that i think we should see more of.

December 18, 200519 yr clint eastwood is the best one followed by the cricket youre pretty good at cross hatching compared to what ive seen other people do but the drawings look really rough (i dont know if that was intentional but w.e) that paint roller thing isnt too good though
