Posted December 20, 200519 yr Some Source servers are set so that when a player joins the game, it shows: "name" has joined the server This is shown before the person is actually connected to the server, and is shown before an admin can get the person's IP. So, if you disconnect yourself and reconnect yourself, you can spam a server with that announcement over and over with no possibility of being banned or kicked or anything. The end.

December 20, 200519 yr It could work, but you would need someone to see it already on server, and your name would have to be long and offensive and all in caps
December 20, 200519 yr old as fuck and admins can easily stop it, although a while ago it wasn't used to spam text it was used to crash servers. nice effort though
