Fraps IS the only decent in-game recorder you stupid prick

tbh it's fraps, you can get the retail version on any decent p2p program. or you can hook up a digital camera to your computer and record it that way for better quality and smaller files, as fraps likes to eat up your hard drive space after a while of recording.

What I would do for CS (or CS:S) is record your .dem ingame. Then go back and fraps the replay of it - reason being unless your PC is pretty powerfull, your not going to be able to play and record worth a damn. As far as other games, FRAPS is all ya' that I know of.
