Posted December 23, 200519 yr I went snowboarding yesturday and wanted to try out a new technique I've seen in some snowboarding videos. I took several frame by frame shots of my friend doing simple things and animated them in Imageready. I used the tween option on the first one. There is only two in the video but I put the same them three times in a row. So you'll see the first one three times then the second one three times. The .gif was too large and I put it in video format. Enjoy <3 Remember this were all photo's none of them we're video footage. http://media.putfile.com/gifs49

December 23, 200519 yr Pantera i like.. :) Thats a pretty sweet idea.. nice one, you know what else you could do with those pics You could do a sequence where the first images is at opacity 10%, second image at 40%, 3rd at %70 and 4th at 100% so that the whole move is shown in like stages like in some skating posters/magazines. You get me?

You get me? Pantera is the best snowboarding music. Well for me anyways, it pumps me up for the bigger jumps. Anyways, I like your idea, I've seen it used a few times in mags like you said. Except, they have those 3,000 dollar cameras, and tripods sometimes. I did the best I could but the lighting is crap and the trick he did was hard to capture at the angle. The jump was actually on a slope! So he went uphill and then jumped. Pretty hard stuff and he got decent air for the speed. Anyways, here is the picture. I'll try and keep the camera still the next time I shoot sequence shots. Thanks for the compliments guys. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/myg0tqwerty/Sequence2.jpg

Imagine this: On a snowboard on a 45 degree slope on a windy day trying to keep steady! Out of 25 frame sequences I only got 3 good ones. The other times I fell down and ate shit while he was doing his tricks. Thanks for the idea, I didn't even think of that! By the way, your sig is tight.

If you read earlier in my posts, you will understand that I took the pictures. That's not me. This was just a test for taking pictures and making sequences. Yes, I know he is not a professional in the magazines. But he does some pretty crazy things. That picture of him doing that jump was an uphill jump. So he got barely any speed, and went uphill and hit a jump and did a grab (my camera missed the grab). It's kinda hard when the snow isn't powder and pure ice k? <3

The snow makes it almost impossible to capture. But i'm going take some more pic's this wedsnday and make more sequences. Thanks again.
