December 24, 200519 yr WTF? 800 pounds? I gave you that money to spend on a plane ticket and hotel to come and see me. God damn it. You know what, it's over. <3 jk, lets have teh butt secks over teh msn k?
December 25, 200519 yr that pc suck man tity newegg.com Hmm let's play LOGIC! Origonal Poster is from England. Newegg ships to only the US and Canada. Therefore Newegg is useless, and you wasted his time. Does the system he post suck? Well it has shortcomings, most obviously in that it lacks a good video card, and the memory used is not clear at all (could be ddr1, ddr2, not sure, either way high latency, and cheap) The basic specs aren't all that bad, but you can certainly do better. A 630 is on the low end of the Intel offerings, and you could probably save a decent chunk of change going with a lower end A64 range (say a 3200+) system, and upgrading the video card yourself. I assume that you do not know how to build the system, or else you would not be asking these questions, so I won't waste your time telling you to go to overclock.co.uk and buying the parts yourself. So if you didn't read the rest of that: It's ok, but you can do better for the money probably. If not, save some money later and buy a better video card. Look for a higher mid-range card (X850PEs have come down a long way, 7800GT and GS are affordable as well).

December 27, 200519 yr Read man, I't says "Buy now, pay in 2007" "You officially Got Pwned By Dell" :boink: You are a fucking moron. Learn how financing works, k? Read the fine print. You know what the APR of this "deal" is? Typical APR 29.5% Ya. What a deal moron. :gaykeke: :gaykeke: :gaykeke: :gaykeke:
December 27, 200519 yr Nearly 30% percent Financing?!?! that's highway robbery. Definitly go with building your own. Parts are cheaper, more options to customize. If you don't know how/what to get, go to a parts store and ask them.
December 27, 200519 yr build your own if you know how. it's cheaper and it's good practice. if you're bent on buying pre-built, get a dell. sure, it's lame and internet folks will laugh at you, but dell has some VERY good deals for the 800 and under market (at least 800 and under USD. mine was like 600 and was a fucking bargain) don't buy top of the line, don't buy a new monitor. getting mid-range stuff when it drops in price is a much better deal. monitors are always going in local classified ads for pocket change. i got a 400 dollar monitor for 65 cash, and the guy offered me another small one. and of course, if you find something that seems to good to be true, CHECK WITH THE BBB. or whatever equivalent you guys have. make sure the business you're dealing with is legit, or you'll end up fucked over. happened to me with "cyberpower inc.", as they sent me a brand new computer that was DOA. right. i'm off on tangents. build it yourself, OR look at dell, OR look at other businesses BUT make sure they're legit.

December 30, 200519 yr ok thnx for that but look at the cheapest i wonder did i say that 1 that cost 1800??? no i didnt and look at the end i said orgo and build you a computer. Cheapest you can cut down the cheapest on that list is to about 1150 pounds. Building your own is sometimes cheaper, but requires a lot more effort. No it is not always cheaper, you just can't beat some of these deals.
January 1, 200619 yr You could build a good computer for 800 euro. Id give you a bunch of good sites to go to, but they prolly dont ship out of the us. Id suggest going to http://www.outpost.com (which is Fry's which always has AMAZING deals). If not, buy parts individually, and build. A 800 euro computer that you built yourself would prolly cost you around 1000 euro from a manufacter. If you dont know how to build, its a fairly simple process, just go to some good comp forums, read some books, or reaserch on it. Most of its self explanatory and is easy.
January 1, 200619 yr if your really want the most out of your money get all teh parts at newegg.com then just put it together yourself.. its not hard,...
January 1, 200619 yr considering you're uk, the site i normally buy parts off of to make systems is http://www.ebuyer.co.uk they sell for little over wholesale price, have a pretty damn big range of stuff, and are (imo) a good company to deal with. another is http://www.scan.co.uk with £800 you should be able to build a fairly good gaming pc, A64, 1gb ram, nice hdd, good mobo, pretty spiffy graphics card. all i'll say buddy, is buy yourself some computer mag's, get on some custom pc enthusiast forums, all that shit, get clue'd up on what sort of parts to buy. then buy them, and make the pc. dont fear about a warrenty if it breaks down within a year as all the parts you buy are covered by that. putting the bits together is easy anyway, just follow the manual to the T and you cant go wrong.
January 3, 200619 yr if your really want the most out of your money get all teh parts at newegg.com then just put it together yourself.. its not hard,... Fuck I hate morons.
January 3, 200619 yr Just an idea, but instead of buying a new prebuilt system why don't you just upgrade your existing computer? or is it so old and obselte that, thats not possible? these two seem to do the trick for me: dabs.com/ and overclockers.co.uk hope this helps.
