Posted December 27, 200519 yr For those of you who like Quake 1 TF or just want something fun to do for awhile.... read this Download my quake folder zipped here, and unzip it to c:\quake\ http://s54.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1W1RP8DGX6F1137U2JSH7V6NXM make a shortcut on your desktop "C:\quake\equake\fuhquake-gl.exe" -heapsize 128000 -width 1600 -height 1200 That will use 128mb of ram with a 1600x1200 resolution most of you will want to use "C:\quake\equake\fuhquake-gl.exe" -heapsize 128000 -width 1024 -height 768 You can edit the config.cfg in C:\quake\equake\fuhquake\configs The system is similar to half-life 1 binds and alias scripting.... after all that is where all of those games were based on quake... even cs was started on quake. If you want to piece together your own quake good luck, finding the maps, high quality textures, high quality models, and figureing out where the new config.cfg is loaded is a bitch......... Oh yea one last thing, if you goto mutiplayer you can connect to the server oc9.org Thier webpage is at http://www.customtf.net I hope to see you guys there. FYI, console commands require a / in front of them example /name "[myg0t] asdfasdfasdf" There is a voting system in place there..... that is how all administration is done, thru the people Tab for players names MUHAHA[]~@#$% Player-245 Ripednail Spitter /cmd vote kick MUHAHA The voting system needs only enyough to indentify the correct person your talking about /cmd vote ban rip people can ban /cmd vote cuff Spitter people can cuff you meaning you cant do shit but walk around really slowly /cmd curse riped Kinda funny makes your screen spin and you cant get killed and really cant do shit /cmd vote map border1 Votes for a map change to border1 /cmd vote nextmap border1 Votes for nextmap to be border1
December 27, 200519 yr Funny thing is, i got the exact same game, and everything. just that mine is on 75 mb, and yours on 160 mb. that means you fucked it up somehow, and thats really gay ^^- you lose.
