January 14, 200619 yr Using the C4/Squad leader tactic of jumping to the hotel roof may work, however it will not allow you to clip into the hotel. Trying to get onto the balcony at the front of the hotel might work (havent seen if there is a clip zone on the balcony). However in a ranked match it is impossible to get up there. Here's my contribution: 1. Get a Vodnik, park it as shown in the pic. http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/3205/screen0006gs.jpg 2. Jump onto the vodnik and then the rafter. Note: it will be bloody tough doing this at the start of a match, since everone is rushing towards this direction. Problem is half the time you keep hitting your head on the top of the window. Ducking in mid air seems to solve this. January 15, 200619 yr I have allready told you how to get there, I have even posted the pics, a video now would be a waste of effort and my time. Besides it took me nearly half an hour just to get in, however I do consider myself bad at jumping in general. Â Some of you guys could do this a lot better then I could (ie. the guy who made that balcony jumping video, it takes me 10+ tries to even do the first jump properly).

January 15, 200619 yr You are free to think and believe whatever you want. I myself have managed to get in there only on 3 occasions in total. It also explains why this exploit isnt so commonly abused on servers.  Image of roughly where you have to jump from. http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/5651/screen004m4co.jpg Do the highest possible jump trajectory and press crouch just bejore you hit the window. If you press crouch too early you loose altitude and miss. I think I did it once by proning in mid jump, the other attempts were all done using crouch.  Also note that you are in direct line of sight of the fixed machine gun turret on the US side...

I won't belive unles I see a video.. Please try to make a video if you have a spare minute. I have been after this for a long time, put many hours into it.
January 15, 200619 yr Ok guys, from I managed to get into the buidling, but not the way he did it. I put some ladders and ramps up and his way was unsuccessful. There was an invisable wall or something preventing me from entering. The way I did get in was with a ladder through the front of the building. I will include my map through a link so you can download it and try it yourself. install to your bf2 levels folder. to run the map your graphics must be on medium and you start it through a local game. January 15, 200619 yr I actually did create a map similiar to that a week ago. I still wasnt able to crouch jump at all inside the window at point blank, but then again crouch jumping doesnt work as well in BF2 as it does in HL and HL2. The problem isnt about me making a video, the problem is that it takes more then an hour or so at times to get that jump right. Maybe the people who use this exploit are better at jumping for whatever reason, but for me it gets annoying real quickly. Hell I cant even do that balcony jump properly half the time. btw. C4 placed on the outside walls still does damage to you inside the building. This isn't a problem with a medic around, just FYI

January 15, 200619 yr Author yeah but theres no ladder in karkand.. I don't think you can get through that building because the ramp is lower thant he window, have it be the exact same height as that botom window.. so was Ignitionx lieing or what? im confused? lol even point blank you cant throw the medpack in there either. btw the ladder leading up to the winow ont he right side doesnt work
