Can somebody give me some information regarding one's PCID? Or, is it possible to make your PCID appear to be different than it actually is?
It is helpful if you could provide a bit of a description of what you're trying to do and what peice of hardware the PCID is. There's like 10 different acronyms for PCID, so being more specific will be very good idea if you actually want some help.

I'm sorry for not being specific enough. I have very little knowledge on it. If you've ever played some of the Delta Force games, their main method of banning is by PCID. Does this help you at all?

I'm not at all familiar with Delta Force 2...but after doing some quick checking with the wonderful website known as http://www.google.com and performing a quick search with the terms of "Delta Force 2 PCID Change" I found out that the PCID is generated by http://www.novaworld.com the first time you log into multiplayer. The PCID is based on your CD Key for the game itself. So, if you can find yourself a new legitimate CD Key and change your CD Key for the game you should be good to go.

I actually went to http://www.novaworld.com and looked up your profile, assuming that you have the same username on there as on these forums. It says that your PCID is 35-W3232Q.

From this I surmize that you will definately need a new profile/CD Key...so if you unlocked anything or have any awards you'll have to do that all over again. You could also attemt to locate your PCID in your registery and manually change it (For the love of god don't attempt this unless you know wtf you're doing). And besides, I doubt the PCID is stored client side.

Long story short:

*New Legit CD Key (how to change that for DF2, no idea. you'll have to figure that out.)

*New Profile at http://www.novaworld.com

Wow! Thanks a lot for the help. I've attempted finding it in the registry before, but you're right, wasn't there. Again, thanks a lot for providing all that information on what I was curious to know.
No problem. Good luck scoring a new CD Key for continued happy gaming.

So far, my current CD-Key is still good, so hopefully it stays that way.:naughtyd:
Right, you'll only need a different CD Key for the server you were banned from.
