Posted January 4, 200619 yr So I'm playing CS:condition zero, when the fucking admin does some shit and my screen starts spinning like crazy, my sound gets fucked up, my mouse sensitivity changes, and my name changes to "I GOT OWNED." Does anyone know how I can restore everything back to normal without having to do a full re-install? Thnx in advance.
January 4, 200619 yr since im feeling helpfull. pretty much same thing happened to me one day. Ive restarted everything and it worked fine after. I think it's a command that automaticly infiltrate your settings.cfg and such and changes everything but anyway. I was too lazy to figure it out so ive just re-installed all my shit.
January 4, 200619 yr I know im medal of honor this happened, I found if you change your settings to a read only file, they cant do any damage, all you have to do is restart your game, couse I dunno if that would work in this case since its a diffrent game

January 4, 200619 yr ya prob had some admin mod on and edited your config.cfg thats all, next time set it to read only then he cant, or have a backup.cfg and just type exec backup.cfg easy as 123
January 4, 200619 yr theres a pretty simple trick to get out of it if you're still in-game, just press the windows key to get to desktop, press ctrl+alt+delete, goto processes and delete hl.exe. this will close cs:cz but stop the settings from being saved.
January 4, 200619 yr Nah, if you dont play FUCKED up.. yay i better tell what i mean by fucked up.. well, if you play with default keys, just go to options > keyboard > default.. and always have your cfg on read only.. and have all your binds in userconfig or autoexec.. <3 simple, deadly, like a ninja..

It's also not a good idea not to have your config.cfg file as read only, I learned it the hard way. I want revenge though!!! Those fuckers use the AMX mod, so I'm looking for some exploits. Thnx for the input guys. Don't you just love 12 year old admins :] Fucking ***gots. And it's not like I was hacking or anything, he just decided to be a total dick.

Well the way you explained it in your first post, it kind of sounded like something you could have just restarted CS to fix, but erasing your config works too I guess.

January 6, 200619 yr it happened to my friend his name was changed to "OMG I GOT PWNED" sound messed mouse inverted cd drive opened and stuff in some dudes wc3 server it was like DEagle house or something
January 7, 200619 yr It's all AMXX Sirs. You can pretty much make anything server side, open a client to whatever site you want, open their CD Tray, control ANY of the clients commands. Hell, you can even make a server side aimbot.
