Posted January 6, 200619 yr Ok, I just googled a free proxy cause i get banned from servers way too much (jedi academy and css) and yeah, got it working so that my ip is masked when using my browser, but how do i mask my ip on games so when i get banned i can just use a diff proxy server? Im guessing i need to find a proxy server with a certain protocal? Cause the only type of server im finding is HTTP, and theres other available types (HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5AUTH). If it is that, can you guys tell me of a place to find those types of servers?
January 6, 200619 yr SOCK5, (I think) is the one that actually masks your IP. Not really sure if it'll mask you IP in game though. You're probably better off getting that thing that lets you make fake steam account, forgot what that was too though. Sorry sir.

January 8, 200619 yr Author I could call my ISP (since im using a static IP) and tell them to change my IP and make up some bullshit reason, but after awhile that wouldnt work, cause I get banned from servers WAY too often. Id need to get a new IP about every other day to everyday.

You only need 1 router, all you must do is spoof a MAC (which almost all routers can do, not to mention your computer) For the noob who wanted to evade bans by changing IPs, thats not going to work anyway, the other noob who posted that steam servers ban by Steam ID was right. now, this method would only be good if you were using SteamRip and had a STEAM_ID_PENDING which is unbannable. Last time i checked, jedi academy doesnt use a steam account, it bans your IP, yes, IP, not your steam account. February 7, 200619 yr just get a dynamic IP provider, you can just go and reset it and get a new IP, it takes all of 5 seconds to do... great for raging vents or any ip-ban servers.
