Only a fool believes in creationism/Intelligent Design (yes, they are synonymous). Since there is no direct evidence for a supernatural being (there can't be, hence the term "supernatural"), supporters look to "prove" creationism by finding holes in other theories. Although it is true that evolutionary theory is not perfect and does have areas which need more research, its [insignificant] holes are ambiguous so trying to claim that they prove creationism is pure idiocy. I would also like to point out that creationism will never be a valid scientific theory since it is not falsifiable. This also means that the only way it can ever be proven true is if this god actually told us that it existed, so rather than focusing your efforts on disproving evolution, you should be focusing your effort on getting your "god" to talk to us (good luck).

Word to word...well it depends on how you mean this, as a lot of his writings were very metaphorical, which meant the reader could translate it into their own meaning. As for being dragged into Hollywood, well it was bound to happen, but he stuck to his word all the way through: he didn't end up being an actor with his head up his ass.

Anton LaVey has a costume with horns on his head. Everyone around him is wearing paper maché masks. Don't these people look like actors with thier head up thier asses? Perhaps I'm too critical, but I feel he lost credibility by being too theatrical and also by building his rituals and beliefs by making direct correlations to Christianity. Example: The very sins set forth as “deadly” by the Christian faith have become part of the Satanist’s creed. I think he had so much venom for Christianity, that he couldn't let it go. I wish he would've created guidlines based on how he truly understood life, and not how he hated Christianity. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong, but that's how I see it so far.

Well according to Christianity, it is, and I suppose that is why Anton hated it so much: it denied people the pleasures of life.
