I opened up Counter-Strike 1.5, clicked play CS then I went to Internet Games. Not one single server appeared in the window ! What happened to the WON server ? Is it down ?

January 7, 200619 yr Damn Wolfclaw, are you really that blind? You do know that it's 2006, right? Anyways, download Steam and install Counter Strike. It should ask for a CD key; I'm not sure if the old 1.5 keys work, but if it dosen't, just buy the Half Life: Game of the Year pack for $30 or something like that. Or steal it... I'll sell you a CD key for your mother though, she's mighty fine and I can hear she can really take it like a pro.
January 7, 200619 yr The WON system was eliminated when steam came out around 2002. This is how valve lets you have access to there games now. When steam came out, it was a huge update, from 1.3 to 1.4. Your in for a nice surprise if you haven't played since >1.4 bra. 1.4 is when they removed the constant jumping, they added a delay when you jump now, and they added first person mode on spectators on that patch, and it was the birth of VAC(Valves Anti Cheat) Which basically scans your memory when you connnect to Secure(VAC) Servers. They also took out jumping which shooting pistols. If you jump and shoot your pistol now, it is completely inaccurate ;0, I miss that :(. Been playing cs since 1.1. Always been a fan of FPS'S. L8r.

January 7, 200619 yr CS 1.6 = Steam version of CS, it is massively updated from 1.5 though it may not seem like it at first. CS:CZ = A company came in and decided to do single-player missions for CS. The CS Team did not work alongside them on this but made sure the game was true to CS itself. The team decided decided to make it multiplayer aswell. Online it is technically almost identical to 1.6 and the single-player missions are boring, not worth getting.
