January 9, 200619 yr i do believe there's a computer discussion section to this forum. however, i support amd because they support cheap third world labour and their products perform better than intel's
January 9, 200619 yr AMD for games definately. There was an article how BF2 was compiled to use some AMD techinques or something like that. I can find the article if you want.
January 10, 200619 yr chubr0ck']I recommend Intel because it's better for gaming. I reccomend you do the following 1- Rip open computer 2- Take that hunk of crap Intel out 3- Remove your pants 4- Proceed to shove the intel as far as you can up your ass 5- Get an AMD
January 10, 200619 yr If you want the current top of the line, it makes virtually no different in the chip that you chose: http://hardware.slashdot.org/hardware/06/01/10/0620218.shtml?tid=142&tid=137
January 10, 200619 yr chubr0ck']I recommend Intel because it's better for gaming. Your such a fucking idiot do you know that.

January 10, 200619 yr I dont know, it is such a hard decision. When I'm on 2 identical computers, 1 with an AMD, and one with an INTEL, i REALLY CAN TELL A DIFFERENCE, I MEAN.. THE difference is drastic to the point where I would buy the more expensive processor of the same speed just because it had some certain fucking benchmarks on a god damn game.
January 10, 200619 yr http://forums.myg0t.com/showthread.php?t=18431 Thread made a long time ago, delete this plz.
January 10, 200619 yr AMD > ALL Go benchmark a PPC and compare it to AMD/Intel. You'd be quite suprised.
January 10, 200619 yr Go benchmark a PPC and compare it to AMD/Intel. You'd be quite suprised. No he wouldn't. anandtech.com Browse that site's reviews of processors and you will see that Intel only has an advantage in media encoding (maybe a few scattered benchmarks here and there). AMD clearly dominates. However, to be fair, Intel's Pentium M's (for laptops) dominate AMD's Turions (though Turions do have nice low power consumption). Desktop: AMD > Intel Laptops: Intel > AMD
January 10, 200619 yr It actually depends on what you use your computer for, i use Intel because i dont only play games, i do all sorts of shit on my comp but if you just play games, AMD is better

January 11, 200619 yr I've heard that Intel is generally better than AMD, but for price vs power, Intel can't compete. Or so I've heard.
