January 10, 200619 yr BAT files don't work as viruses, because any idiot can look at the bat file's source and see what it does.
January 10, 200619 yr most people dont know what a bat is doing even though they can read the source code. about half of the people you would send it to would not know how to open it in notepad and probably wouldnt even know what the source in the bat means. bats are too slow anyway and take awhile to progress so theyre not great for big viruses.
