If VAC does detect a cheat of some sort will it ban you or does it just kick you? i heard from somewhere that VAC isnt able to ban but it alerts the admins or summin to that effect. VAC works by putting a code # on the hacks to identfy them withen the system then when it sees ur cheat (aka code # on hack) then it bans ur ass from all VAC2 proof servers, only a person from steam can unban ur account, and they wont so dont ask. if they find a hack ur banned without question. then u gotta go buy a new CD key for like 40 dollars.

January 16, 200619 yr Im pretty sure it bans you instantly... im positive it doesnt, i used hacks for about 3 months before i got banned from one server, then i didnt play with hacks for about 2 weeks, wake up the next day, and im blacklisted.
