uh, the dude that said, "german engineering ftw" should be quiet. Don't act like just because your car is german it's better than everybody elses, in fact your car is probably not even made in wolfsburg. If you want to check, go get your vin#:

The first digit in your vin-- 1 = us, 3 = mexico, 9 = brazil, W = wolfsburg

The final letter before the 6 digit serial number at the end of the VIN tells you where it was assembled. M is mexico, P is brazil, Y is spain, W is wolfsburg, B is brussels...

 

Anyway, vw's have got PLENTY of problems. Mainly because they, unlike honda, haven't been using the same damn engine design for the past 30 years(that should get some flames). 4cyl 16v vtec motors. (they didn't even invent 'vtec', Fiat was the first to do it). Nonetheless, vw/audi are far from perfect--but i still love them. VW's problem is they try way too much stuff, way too fast.
