You need a legit copy of windows though... unless you can find a way around it.

so discussion, who thinks this can actually challenge firefox?

firefox is the i like it the it likes?

chubr0ck']Take it that IE still controls 80% of the browser market I would think they don't give a shit about "challenging" Firefox.

yeah, i was talking about people who give a damn about what browser they use though, i mean will anybody switch back from firefox?

I'm sorry, but this is old. This was posted on Neowin on the 22nd (4 days ago, but 3 days as of your posting this.). Also, this is not the full IE7 Beta 2. This is IE7 Build 5299 which is NOT the full Beta 2. This build does not have all of the features of the actual Beta 2 release (which isn't making its private beta test launch until around mid February) will have.

Also, when you said "Source," I thought you meant source code as well. Apparently, according to several sources, Source Code IS available out there for IE7 Build 5299.

But yeah. You ***s that just noticed that it has Tabbed browsing should shoot yourself. If you keep current some what at all would know that upon the concept of Windows Longhorn and IE7 (both being launched at the same time, as well as Windows XP SP3, IE7 was said that it will incorperate tabbed browsing.

What's more concerning (that I have noticed), is that the RSS feed features look rather familiar to me >.>

But hey! At least they finally got rid of those Win95 icons!

I hate IE, too much ware... I hope all the bad things in the world happen to IE and nobody else but IE, I hate it's guts!

If you want more recent news, Microsoft went open with it's Windows Server source code. This was due to a EU lawsuit that would insue LARGE ammounts of fines per day.

Oh, and if you're not running a genuine copy of windows, a fix can be found here: http://www.jcxp.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=4499

Yay. I think I just leaked "exclusive data" or some shit. What ever. They shouldn't post shit on public forums and not expect it to get leaked. Well, what they don't want is download links to the build which we have anyway.

However, take down the link. I believe there was an agreement that no links to warez and the such are to be posted on the g0t forums. The last thing we need is to have myg0t in M$'s scope or distrobuting leaked beta software.

Ok I got it working, it's still nothing much, but i'll use it for when I have to go to IE only sites.

Sure I'll use IE and let adware seep into my system.

Sorry, but Microsoft can fuck off. I'll be sticking with firefox for a long time, and before you ***s start talking about firefox exploits, let me say that I am a careless user, and rarely give a damn about links I click, and I have never been hit by DDOS codes or firefox crashers.

I use firefox but tbh it hardly makes a difference to your intraweb experience. Except the cute fox thing.
When firefox fully integrates all of IE's capabilities (i.e. Quicktime player and other nonesense) then it won't be question. For the time being, there is IE Tab
