Posted January 27, 200619 yr i tried patching my downloaded version of bf2 to 1.12 and it doesn't seem to work. i get a black screen and it exits out immediately after. anyone know how to fix this?
January 28, 200619 yr get a new graphics card or if you canceled installing the patch while it said "patching please wait" that might of happened(takes about 20 hours for sucky computers) happened to me.... anyways reinstall and be patient, you will be raging in no time.

March 11, 200619 yr maybe because BF2 is just a buggy P.O.S.? Try system restore to before you patched and then try patching it again. If it still doesn't work, fiddle aroud with any firewalls you might have. if it STILL doesn't work, try DL'ing it again, you might have a corrupted file.
March 11, 200619 yr try getting a no-cd exe for it. might fix start up problem. u can look at gameburnworld.com.
