January 31, 200619 yr Author It's not like Yasar Arafat and the Fatah regime WEREN'T terroristic. fatah were voted out due to corruption, right? hamas was voted in because they built schools, they helped the poor, etc. if you needed food, these guys made sure your family ate. that's why they voted them in, not necessarily because they want isreal destroyed, but with that being one of hamas' goals, i don't think it's too far off. course with the financial position they're in, i'm sure many countries will be able to keep them in check for now, but what happens once they've rebuilt (their economy etc)?
