February 1, 200619 yr no you have a 7800 which sucks and a brand new dual core proc thats amd which is far worse than intel. seriously, the 7800 is great for now and will last a while, even though nvidia probably will be releasing a new vidcard in response to ATI's 1900 xt/xl wtih speeds of up to like 625 mhz. the 4000+ is better than amd's 3800+ but the 4200+, which i have is not that much higher in price to the 4000+ while your also getting a faster proc with more cache.
February 1, 200619 yr Author i get can get it upgraded really cheap anytime so i gues im good for now, il wait for the ati comparison thing
February 1, 200619 yr imo a 4000+ is pointless, you can just buy a 3700+ for 100$ less and easily overclock it to fx57. nowadays dual-cores are in style with all the recent updates on hardware demanding games. As for the 7800GT its decent, for now.

The 7800 is by far the best, expessially in SLi. Not to mention NVidia is better with drivers, and customer support. ATi is the devil.
February 1, 200619 yr I have always liked Nvidia too but when i ordered an Ati card the x800xl i was stunned by its performance at such a low price that newegg was seliing it for. was 100$ and a very good buy. anyway how about the new radeon x1900xt. that can outperform nivida in core speed by at least 200 mhz? it doesnt have 512 ram right now but proabbly will when nvidia releases thier new card.

Its not about clock speed, its about the ammout of data that can be processed. Overclocked to the same speed as the ATi card (with water cooling of course, a 200MHz overclock will make a LOT of heat) the 7800 would spank it as hard as hoodenhen.
February 2, 200619 yr are yuo happy noow? every1 nowz u have 256 mb grafx card?? j00 get 100 e-pointz becuz u try 2 braag, and cover up vith stoopid qvestion...
