IE can i make a new account, copy over the dod:s folder, cheat and get banned on that account without them finding out about my main account? or must i download it each time i create a new account? thanks

February 9, 200619 yr I think you just need to copy the GCF files to a new account from what I know. If they're up to date, they should work. But perhaps the free accounts are going to use a different type of GCF to regular DODS, to test out piracy levels after the free weekend is over. The will be able to flag all the free account GCFs that are being used online after the free weekend finishes, and guage how secure steam is now. A good test and a good way of promoting DODS if you ask me.
