I agree with alot that you say, but there are alot of white holidays, college funds and stations etc...

 

Such as NBC, ABC, FOX, SPIKE, VH1, MTV, DISNEY, HISTORY, DISCOVERY, HBO, CINEMAX etc... the list is very long. BET was formed to be the first station to have a completely black staff, run by a black CEO.

 

As for holidays there is Columbus day, Presidents day, Valentines Day, July 4th, Fathers Day, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas is actually a white holiday(even though now it celebrates christs birth it used to be a pagan holiday celebrating the Winter Solstice which falls on dec 25 in the Julian calendar.)

 

There are alot of scholarships out there that sponser just white Americans. I believe that the KKK has one specifically for that, and so does the United Fascist Union. And if you don't want to be affiliated with them then you certainly fooled me.

 

The main reason why these things exist is because everyone of a non white race in this country have a history of being mistreated at sometime or another.

The blacks were obviously slaves at one time, and had to suffer through Segregation. Asians were put in concentration camps during World War 2, the Spanish especially the cubans during the late 70s early 80s when they left cuba as refugees were sequestered to camps in southern florida for sometime, even years at a time.

 

Jews have not been mistreated in this country, but thats because they are white most of the time. Jews as a religious race have been mistreated more times over than any religion in history. They have been through the slavery in eqypt, the roman colloseum as both gladiatorial slaves, and just food for the lions( with the christians also though.) they have also been through the inquisition, and the holocaust. Not to mention Ellis Island in the early 20th century which was kept in horrible conditions despite the fact it was on american soil. There were people who had to sleep there for months before they were alowed to come into the country.

i completely agree. i am not racist, and i think black history month, and the promotion of non-white races is fine, but do not turn around after all your "history months" and "special days of recognition" and throw it in my face if i want to.
