Kids need to stop acting like they know anything about politics when they get their opinions from someone else, without facts. Or to kids who have opinions about cops that are based on fabricated "facts". Case and point : "fuck pigs. fuck everything the stand for. Safety? NAH fuck that. Safety for the fellow white citizens of America with a bank account. Respect? February 14, 200619 yr That was a rather scattered rant, but I'll try to reply because I agree with what I think you're trying to say. The opinion alot of kids have of 'fuck the police' is retarded. Cops are your friend, whether you want them to be or not, and they are there to protect you. Cops around here don't even care about drinking/smoking pot as long as you're not out on the street causing trouble. If you get a ticket for driving too fast, it's your fault for not noticing the cruiser on the side of the road with a radar gun. The laws are, in general, pretty well designed, and apart from some fascist drug and cyber laws in the USA, generally designed to protect citizens. Don't blatantly break the law, and cops will leave you alone and focus on real criminals. As far as kids and politics are concerned, its essential that people figure out what the fuck is happening to their country, and act accordingly. Oh, and fuck George W Bush.
February 14, 200619 yr indeed blocky. my dad is a big boss with the dutch police with a high function, but he doesn't care if I drink too much or whatever. as long as I don't do anything like beat up little kids or rob people. He wouldn't even be mad if I said I used drugs, he would just say that's my choice. I even have some traffic signs and some poals in the garage and he knows about them but doesn't really care. cops aren't your enemy, you are.

February 14, 200619 yr i remember when i was 13 and politics started to interest me, i had some stupid ideas but the way i see it now is that they formed the basis for what would evolve into my current beliefs, and i don't intend to stick with these beliefs, my beliefs will evolve until the day i die. its better that these kids have some opinions than none at all because if nobody in society cares about politics then we're all screwed because the people with power will be able to do what they like. in fact this is already happening right now because people in the younger generation (from teenage into their 20's) don't care about politics. so if you're suggesting that these kids are stupid for their views then they may well be but at least they've got views and i'm sure in time they will evolve.
