February 20, 200619 yr t3rm1ght stfu, this is th computer section for help about anything computer related, that was a valid question just cos you dont know shit about xbox modding dont mean no one else does, you are the very definition of a troll so keep your flames to yourself. and to answer the_answer's questions to mod an xbox its best to buy a chip like the xecuter3, there normaly easy to install, some require soldering but you can get ones that dont, i have the xecuter lite pro 2.3 that never required soldering, then flash a bois onto your chip and get a dashboard like evox, once u got all that sorted u can change over the harddrive and cd rom drive no problem, with a modded xbox u can play pirated games from dvds or u can ftp the whole game onto the HD and run it straight from there, also i would recommend getting xbox media centre with that u can watch avi files and other media / music files on your xbox, or if you have your xbox hooked up to your home network you can stream media from your computer share folders a good site to look at is http://www.xbox-scene.com/ theres lots of tutorials and stuff on there
February 20, 200619 yr NEVER EVER USE A MODCHIP. Not only will it cost less to softmod it but you can also softmod a whole lot easier then hardmodding and can also uninstall your dash like evox and reinstal in case you play xbox live and dont want to get banned. PM me if oyu watn a good tutorial on how to softmod your xbox and also how to change the hd in case you want to store games and run apps from it, and even run gentoox.
