Posted February 20, 200619 yr For those who do not know, PETA is an association dedicated to saving animals from being turned to fur coats, hamburgers, and more. My sister bitches everyday about it. I decided to write to PETA. To whom it may concern, I am sixteen years old, from Virginia. I am easily fustrated with your rants. I wish to lay out some anger i've had. My sister recently went to your website, and became intense and sad about the KFC manner. I think this is amazingly stupid. Why? Oh i have my reasons, PETA. 1) If we didn't eat the animals, they would overpopulate. Don't even spill this stuff about humans overpopulating. Animals outnumber humans by miles. 2) God, or depending upon your religion, put animals on earth to be eaten. He didn't put them here so we could stare at them for long hours and say 'Boy i wonder what that slab of meat is doing.." Sure i believe highly that dogs, and cats should not be killed for food. Nor should they be killed for furs. However my support stems to if this animal was a civil, respected pet. If it was a pet, i feel sympathy. A rabid child attacking pittbull? Sure, put the bastard down. Chickens were meant to be eaten. Who cares if they get slammed up against a steel wall. Who cares if their stepped on during moving stations. They are going to all die and end up on a bun anyway. Why whine "Oh no, they don't need to be suffered!" THEY. ARE. GOING. TO. DIE. ANYWAY. Also: Good job getting Pam. Anderson to speak on your site about KFC cruelity. How much did you pay her? You want publicity and you seek a famous actor/etc to do it? If it was all for the idea of saving animals it wouldn't care who you put on there. Just because some famous person speaks a script for a association dedicated to stupid practices, doesn't make me want to change my point of view. Just know one thing: While you smile and save the animals, realize that salad your eating was once living too. A breathing plant, laid out in a field where it didn't do anything wrong. Whatever you eat, whenever you eat, you're eating something that was alive. I've heard it millions: Plants can't generate a relationship with people like animals. Have you ever seen a gardener, who spends her olden days out tending to flowers? Have you not seen a rose given to a love, and seeing a relationship, and emotion it puts fourth? I'm not here to be your enemy, or your friend. I'm here to express my belief. My last name will not be given out. That is not important. Sit back and analyze the facts, PETA. My sister just showed me a video of these fucking chinks taking a live raccoon, placing it on a shackle, and skinning it alive.
