March 2, 200619 yr v0dka']CCR [creedence clearwater revival] is the best band ever, bar none. If you have never heard of them, you have definitely heard their songs. CCR rocks the house. Is it me, or do every single one of their covers rock the originals out of the water? Skynyrd is awesome too. The slide solo in freebird is so amazing.

March 2, 200619 yr Dont know any from 60s / 70s maybe metallica but thats like only 1.... Metallica is 60's and 70's??? Since when? their first album.... Kill 'em all came out in 1983. The only thing bad about Metallica is they have been so played out on the radio, the local rock station here dedicates a complete hour of the day for nothing but Metallica. And although their new bass guitarist is good, he is not nearly as good as Newsted was. And I am not going to be one to say that they sold out just because they cut their hair, because load was a pretty good album, the first one they had with their hair short. But load was also there last great album in my opinion. Reload wasn't very good and only had a couple good songs on it... St. Anger totally sucked.. And no, not because of the way they chose to record it with the garage band quality sound, I appreciate that fact of it... I just thought the content sucked on it.
