go download BackTrack (formerly WHAX), burn to disk, run, mount to the hard drive, browse to C:\WINDOWS\system32\config

grab "SAM" and "system" then copy to a floppy/ftp/etc and take back to windows, run SamInside with them and youll get the password

or if you want the easy way out, go get this (link below) and use it to change the password, (anything encrypted with windows file encryption will be lost, but not many people use that)

link to that here: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

for more info, read here: http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm#1

explain your problem in detail please, forget password, or cannot get to the windows login form.

yeah. you could go into safe mode by either pressing a hotkey or even restarting your comp a couple of times. also, while in safe mode there should be an admin account that you had setup when you installed xp to her hd. you can easily change the password with that account. You can even do soemthing a little bit easier in the command prompt then what t3rmight said by jsut typing in "net user her username and the password" (without quotes)

to get into safemode, press F7 before the xp screens shows up when booting.

Safe mode is f8 right after POST.

Anyways try this first: at the login screen hit Ctrl + Alt + delete two times. This will bring up the classic login. For the username use "administrator" and try no password. Should let you in since most people are too stupid to set an admin password (which is good in times like this :p ).
