So i got visual studio and i tryed to install. the install was going fine and nothing is corrupt but when i install, the installer gets to a certain part and says that it cannot create a folder named SYS. Now, this was a different error message

(posted below) then the one which tells you that a folder already has this name. ANyway, i googled it and got nothing, and still decided to search for any file or folder named SYS but got nothing. Now i let it install without the header files in that folder and all of the programs work except for visual basic. Now i am missing a couple of header files but since i usually use dev-c++ so its not that big of a problem. JSut wanted to get into programming with Vb again. Can anybody help me with how i could create a folder named SYS so my visual basic prog works?

nothing really since i haven't had any errors since i used osloader awhile ago to make it easier to boot up my OS's that i have installed. and that gave me the idea the other day to install it on those. So that is exactly what i did. i isntalled visual studio on the other OS which is windows x64 sp1 and it let me create a SYS folder and install completed. But the funny thing is i went to go run visual basic again and it screwed up. i restarted and it still screwed up. dont know why but proabably a corrupt file that i dled. even tryed to debug and got nothing. ill jsut dl VB again and see what happens instead of visual studio now. thanx for the advice though.
