"This is how they grow it in Tennessee. This grow was underneath a house in a cave. The entrance was through a secret hydraulic door in the garage that led to a concrete ramp that went about 50 yards into the ground. Inside the cave was living quarters and a secret escape hatch that led you through a tunnel that exited via another hydraulic door that opened up a rock on the outside. It was very elaborate. The set up allowed them to harvest every 60 days which resulted in multi-million dollar sales. One of the guys busted was living in a house on the water in FL and had a nice yacht.

One of the agents here in Nashville worked on this for 5 years before the warrant was finally served in December."

I think that growing pot here (TN) should be legal, We have one of the best climates around to grow it in, also it would help boost the state economy, Especially in Cocke County

Im gonna start growinjg pot this summer, hopefully. I was supposed to get the seeds 1 week ago, but i spent all my money on shrooms

Wow, i'd pe pissed, not only for the loss of weed, but the loss of my own personal cave. :(

That's a massive hydrolic pump for the door, and would require a fucking TON of pressure to open if you were trying to force it open.

anyone got more pics?

He was growing it inside with a controlled climate. Which could be done anywhere and boost the economy anywhere.

Yeh, but it costs money to set up an artificial controlled climate.

I am no grower, but do enjoy the fine cannabis herb from time to time. I must say that is one hell of a hydraulic door. Good find !

Also what were they served with, probably death penalty fuckin stupid justice system . They are doing more time than someone who raped a girl I suppose. We really need to decrim marijuana.

Maybe we can buy the house after they reposses it and make it myg0t's headquarters.

MasterVampire']fuck thats alot of weed!

/drool

how did they get busted

hydro bill probably most likely... but if they stole the juice, abnormal amount of useage for that type of dwelling

I read other articles on the story, and allegedly it was a five year operation that led to the warrants. It seems they just infiltrated the lower levels of the sales and must have made friends and moved up untill they gathered enough information on the suspects and location. These people aren't too friendly with outsiders I would assume, so the 5 years to build up the relationship and trust sounds reasonable.

Techno, you're right though, but they would have been busted in the first months of operation with that type of electicity usage, so i'm guessing it's generators, and the water must be gathered rainwater or a well or many other various ways. I've had a few acquaintences get busted thinking that the jump in energy from 18 hours of 10-20 high-intensity bulbs wouldn't significantly increase your energy usage.
