Posted March 11, 200619 yr Hey guy's, I have a Cyrix Processor that overheat's really bad, And it shake's and make's loud noises. So i have to put it in the fridge to cool off. I need a new Processor because I really want to be able to play Ultima Online, but the Cyrix just can't handle the graphics load. What should i get?

March 11, 200619 yr why are you using a cyrix proc? how long ago did you buy your system? those chips seem as out of date as IBM since they stopped manufacturing procs awhile back.

I had call a matinace guy to un jam it.

The CPU fan it rusty cause i left the my Window open and it was moist out and the thing kinda got rusty. So the fan bearing made weird noises so i tryed Spraying Cooking oil to make it stop and then the thing started smoking really bad and the smoke smelled like grilled cheese.

Wow, so I geuss your comp can barely handle viewing this forum huh? Get a AMD K6-2 with 3Dnow! technology. That will solve your problem.

March 11, 200619 yr Cyrix is the worst shit you can have.....it's not even sold anymore, I had one and dumped it in the garbage...just buy an old pentium or AMD processor and you'll be fine.
