Seeing as to how you are actually serious sp0rk, I'm going to reply seriously. I don't enjoy reading much at all, unless it has to do with war. Only war books will really keep me reading them. I also can't speed read for a long time, so reading gets boring.

However, we might read Hitchhiker's Guide in english class, so ill see if you are telling the truth about it beeing funny.

I recommend The things They Carried by Tim Obrien, really good war book. I actually read it without throwing up becase books usually suck c0ck.

While we're being serious, I think I'll add a b00k to the list too k? "A Clockwork Orange". Read it.

lets cut the crap sp0rk, impregnate me

Funny:

Good Omens (the nice and acurate prophecies of agnes nutter, witch)...hilarious comedic take on christian Armageddon. Two authors...Terry Pritchard (I think), and some dude I can't remember.

Callahan's Lady Spider Robinson...actually, any of the Callahan's Place, Callahan's, or Lady Callahan's books rock.

Phule's Paradise Robert Aspirin...all the Phule's books...comic books without the pictures.

Job: A Comedy of Justice Robert Heinlein Admiral Bob rips the hell out of christian mythology (among others), and makes Satan a nice Texan guy, with a great family (of demonesses), and God is a whining Jew artist with a poor attitude, and a sick sense of humor.

The rest of what I read tends to be much more serious in nature...though I also like the Porter action books (series of books that the movie Payback was based off the first of), but I forget the author's name....they're fucking hilarious and semi-serious at the same time.

I read it before, it wasn't that funny to me, but it was good

Harry Potter and the magic treasures a story about a boy that copes with his life day after day. At home, his mother hits him, at school he gets laughed at and mocked. As they say, at the end of the rainbow, theres always a pot of gold, and in his case, it's death.

critically accalimed and new york times say it's the feel-good book of the year.

All sarcasm put aside, I would say the book 'Night' is funny. Funny because it's incredibly boring, and it's another one of those 'look at me im jewish i was in a concentration camp' books. The author has an obsession with babies. To try making his book sound more powerful, he adds the word 'babies' in. example: "I trudged through the mud with my head hanging down. I looked up, and saw flames. I saw german soldiers throwing people into the ovens. Babies! The smoke and fire engulfed the babies quickly as they were thrown in."

fuck, and i have to read same that book every second day at school. At least it's better than the last one we had to read "Mercy's Birds", god.
