Posted March 15, 200619 yr I'm a college student, I have a job and money, I like nice clothes but I'm not going to give normstrom 300 dollars for a pair of shoes. If I can get away with shoplifting, then I might as well do it. I don't see any harm or reason not to. While the top executives of normstrom are doing the same thing I'm doing, the employees are still being payed shitty wages. It guess it all boils down to the question of moral which you would have already guessed that I have very little of. The world has changed, cheating and dishonesty is now necessary in developing your executive profile. Since this is the only forum I know with an "open-minded" audience, I am here asking if anyone knows anything about shoplifting in a department store scenario.

Wal Mart doesn't know who the hell their employees are and their employees really don't know each other that well either. However, while cheating and dishonesty may be necessary I would strongly advise that you don't shop lift items over $20. If you screw up and get caught, odds are your executive profile would be ruined. You could have the nicest shit in the world, but this certainly doesn't look good when it comes up on a background check.

Get a pair of Vans, blue jeans and a black collar t-shirt with a white t shirt underneath and you'll look more professional than half the people that go to school around you. All you need is a sense of style. Take a ladyfriend in the store if you have to, and she'll make you look decent. Women love playing dressup, especially with men. Go into American Eagle or Anchor Blue and you can get decent shit. It's not gonna be cheap, but it won't be expensive either. Fucking moron.

March 15, 200619 yr I say go for it, reason being is that I work in retail at the moment until im done with school and get a real job. I work in the electronics department of sams club. And catching thieves is makes my boring day just a little bit more interesting. The expression on their face when they get caught and hauled away in cuffs is priceless. You will definately make their day a little more interesting. This just shows that the best and the brightest are not always the ones in college. Are you that fucking stupid??? I don't know where you live, but around here.. any time 300 dollar shoes are being sold, they are not kept out on the sales floor. They have one shoe out for you to look at that most likely will not be your size and it may even be locked to the wall by a cable. And in order to get your hands on a pair, you have to ask a salesperson to try them on who will retrieve them from the back... And usually, especially if its a 300 dollar pair of shoes they will stand right by your side while you have the shoes while you try them on or whatever.. And they won't leave your side or look away from you until you either A. go up to the register and buy the shoes or B. Give them back to the salesperson and say you don't want them. You must also be one of those idiots who think stores who have the cameras in those black balls hanging from the ceiling are fake... Cuz they are real, every single one of those.. is real. And what kind of shoes are they??? Anyone that spends more than 40 dollars on a pair of athletic shoes deserves to be shot. I can see spending a little more for hiking/outdoor boots where you actually pay more for the materials they are made out of and for ones that have good traction while climing muddy hills, keeping the water out, or a pair of work boots that need to be extremely durable. And maybe even an expensive pair of dress shoes for big events, but when are these young idiots going to realize that a 30 dollar pair of athletic shoes is no different function wise than a 300 dollar pair. Athletic shoes just need to be lightweight, comfortable, and have decent traction for whatever your using them for... All of these qualities can be found in a 30-40 dollar pair. They are also all made out of pretty much the same materials. And the only difference between that and the 300 dollar pair is cosmetic. Proof of this is that next year, the 300 dollar pair will be the 40 dollar pair, so does that mean that the shoe is lower quality now that it was last year's model? Why do you want the 300 dollar pair anyway??? That seems so middle school to me.... I figure any dumb bitch that bases her decision on whether to lay you or not on your shoes, is not worth the time I spend washing my sheets after her nasty, crusty ass gets off of them. So I wear the cheap shoes.

My Idea The key is not to be nervous, you cant be nervous. Grow a beard, some stuble or have your hair cut straight after because if your gonna do it you need to speak to one of the employee's. Sit down and ask for the shoes you want, always ask for the right size. When you try them on ask for the size up, they walk off to get them and you sprint out of the shop, out of the shopping centre and to your hiding spot. Or you could just get a job there and steal some out the back.
