ok i know house made a workout thread but this one is on different bases...

i was thinking about doing regular basic workouts...

i would like to know what i could do for working out without using any machines, or supplements etc like home shit... (will do this until i do weight training this starting summer possibly) stuff how many reps etc etc

i have 5 day week and 2 day weekend and i was wondering what you guys think i should do... no flames very serious question[already feel stupid for posting so leave at that]

If you wanna loose weight jsut take speed lol i hear it makes you loose around 10 pounds in one night.

but if you want to gain strength, just do sit ups, push ups or lift shit

Push ups for your triceps, crunches for your abs, and lunges for your quads and hamstrings. Might want to invest in a dumbbell or two. Eat clean foods with protein in them, for example tuna, cottage cheese, yogurt, chicken, and turkey. Eat your multi-vitamins. Cardio, running or walking for half an hour to an hour around your neighborhood.

Good luck.

*EDIT*

Focus on repititions of 8-12.

I work with two dumbbells and do situps and push ups in my room. I run when the weather is warm. Diet is like half the battle. Activity level is the other half. Stay active, run alot, etc. I don't know a damn thing about "bulking up". The army isnt the keenest on bulk.

yeah need dumbells, gaining weight - not oversized... too skinny i think :/

thx for help

Depends on your goal of working out. Assuming you're fat, I'd say run.
Yeah..sit ups/crunches, push-ups, lunges, toe lifts. what i do is go to my basement, and go up a stair, and down, then up 2 and down, and keep doing that till im at the top, quick as i can without falling lol. do that a couple times and you'll be dead. Another good one, is for your forearms, take a rubber ball or something, and while your watching tv just squeeze and release and so on. Eating healthy is key to.
I dont work out per se, but I do play DDR and I rape at it but then I go to the mall by the people who can AAA 10-songs and Im like, omg Im gay. I can do 9-steps and get a B though. Im not physically strong, but I can run fast and Im not fat, so Im happy.

Well, first look for some dumbbells... You can do 3 x dumbbell training in a week and 2 x cardio training, but not on the same day because that´s not effective. If you don´t want to get legs like pinocchio stop running and use your cycle for 45 minutes! Pulse should be between 120 - 140 because you burn fat there. Example:

Monday: dumbbells

Tuesday: Cardio

Wednesday: dumbbells

Thursday: Cardio

Friday: dumbbells

You need your weekend for convalescence and don´t forget to eat enough protein (about 2 g per kg bodyweight). Just google for some dumbbell workout plans...

k that will sort you out for exercises for what body part, it all depends on weather you want cardio or you want muscle or toneing.

i personaly do splits:

chest - tricepty

back - shoulders

bicepts - forearms - abs

legs

i mainy do 3 sets of 8, depending on what exercise

4-6 reps is for pure strength training

8-10 is mainly for muscle mass

12+ is for toneing and endurence training

if you feel like your in a bit of a rut, slowly up your reps normaly helps, start doing say 8 8 8 then do 8 8 10 then 8 10 10 then 10 10 10 then 10 10 12 .... 12 12 12 then increase the weight, also try to do more than one exercise for each muscle and mix it up a little or your body just gets used to doin the same exercise. also remember that rest if very important, if you never rest ur muscles wont regenerate

thats my advice anyways take it or leave it

pushups work your triceps more then your biceps, and crunches do not give you abs at all beleive it or not. whoever said that you can only workout with dumbells 3x a week is wrong since you can workout almost every day just depending on which muscles you use. You can also workout cardio every day including the days you use dumbels depending on the amount of carbs you take. If your really keen on this then find some trainer at the YMCA to talk to for free or a completely reliable website (which is just about impossible)

it is true, no matter how much you do crunches etc you dont get instant abs, you coule be fat as fuck and you would have the strongest abs in the world... in order to get good abs you need to reduce the fat around the abdominal area

r00t awesome site i bookmarked it

and as for pushups and shit like if i were to do 100 a night or some shit would i have to wait every other ( to regenerate ) or could i do every night and have better result?

summer i plan on doing lots of weight training and shit cause too skinny gg

Yes, crunches do produce the abs.

Again, crunches do produce the abs, whether they show or not depends on your current bf%.

High reps with free weights, get a punchbag use it to also burn fat it also works as good form of cardio working on a punchbag. And start running. And whatever your eating that is unhealthy stop.
