Posted March 27, 200619 yr Hey, just wondering what myg0t forumers thought about ATI vs. Nvidia and Intel vs. AMD. I myself prefer Nvidia and AMD, and plan to purchase one of the Nvidia cards with the G80 core when they come out, and also an AMD X2 4200 or 4400+ proc. Although ATI did show up Nvidia on the first 1gb memory graphics card (even if the price is woah). But what do you think? Also feel free to tell me why my opinions are wrong and that Im a *** for having processed these thoughts, and what I should buy instead. Also by posting ITT you agree that your opinion is void and that if your beliefs dont strictly adhere to mine you are wrong.

April 21, 200619 yr Video cards: Nvidia has had the upper hand for a while now. CPUs: When Conroe launches, Intel will be firmly back in the lead. Until then, AMD has the better processors, but buying now is honestly stupid. Prices will drop quite a bit in a few months, or less.

May 1, 200618 yr Nvidia have the upper hand over ATI for now. Unless ATI simplify driver uninstallation and optimize their Catalyst Contorl Centre drivers, they'll be behind Nvidia.

July 31, 200618 yr AMD have stupid misleading names tbh. i.e 3200 runs @ about 2.8GHz or some shit I beleive. But I'm poor so I buy AMDs
