I got over 100 fps on bugbait, :D If you have ATI card turn vertical sync of and your fps flys high.

 

How do you get your fps so high... my machine is allmost same, and i get around 30 fps. i heard there was a way to tweak, anyone know?

I got 100+ on a geforce fx 5200 ultra with 1700+ athlon 512mb ram 333mhz ;/ but I also am leet and dont have viruses and shit running in bg, you probably do :ssex:

Hmmm wounder if I got xt, must look... Aye got a XT, how much more power do you think I could get out of it from beening an XT?

I get around the same fps (unless your turn vertical sync off, Properties, Settings, Advanced, 3D tab, Then it will have two menus saying Direct3d, if you use openGL more click the circle button next to it, then click use custom settings then click on custom.

 

Anti aliasing 4X

Anisotropic Filtering 8X

 

Then just turn vertical sync off, I have no idea whyat it does but in hl2 I had 60 fps and now sometimes my fps reachers over 100.

Need help part

 

I pissed about with it, and now I only get 60 fps, and then I found out there was a thing in windows what only lets your fps goto 60 :(

There is a program what can stop that, if any one knows what its called and the link can you please PM me with it or just post it in this thread.

 

If yours does do this try this:

Properties, Settings, Advanced, Display, Monitor, Refresh rate overide. : Disable.

However, the reason vertical sync caps your fps at 60 is because your refresh rate is also 60. When it goes above that you get tearing. So you should probably turn it back on considering no human being can see the difference between 60 fps and a 100, unless you really like having your graphics screwed up of course.

the game is a little playable, you have to type to get into levels though

 

a lot of missing textures but the graphic is amazing, if I remember correctly, I was getting 99 at 1600x1200 with a Radeon9600
