I got here after the hlsource.com forums got hacked/spammed, at that time there were like 15 myg0ts active at the spammed forum, amazed me, so i registered.

 

I remember that. I was one of those participating.

Had been raging cs 1.3 never having heard of myg0t, when someone with the tag joined a server I was on (no idea who), we happened to be the last two alive at one point, and I had my first ever tea party. So I joined the forums and lurked for the exploits and to read the rage collages because they made me lol.

 

Now all I seem to do is spam forums, but it's fun, am I remembering wrong or did there used to be a channel like #forumspam or #forumrage (something like that) it was great fun doing an invasion with lots of others

I was playing the game ravenshield when a friend of mine was like ohh rifk on TS, i asked him why he was rifking and he said 'pwned.nl' and i showed it to my class and since the day i showed them pwned.nl they run around in the classroom screaming "I AM MYG)T CLAN LEADER!!!!!!" and when a teacher asks them questions they say "RIFK" :happysad:

K I'll start at the beginning. I never played online games til a couple of my friends started playing CS 1.5 just after I got Broadband. I happened to have HL so I installed it and downloaded CS. They always bitched because my PC was a pile of shit but I had broadband and they had good machines with 56k, but because my PC was shit I didn't play much. I do remember from these days seeing myg0t tags around occasionally and they were always hackers but I never looked into it. In Summer 2004 I got a new PC and started playing CS 1.6 a bit, in this time I also played a couple of other games such as DoD 1.3. As myg0t was more popular by this time I saw the tag round more regularly and I was often amused by the people I saw, though I'm certain the majority of them were fake and probably not even members of the community at all. I decided to Google myg0t and found the site around this time last year and I thought the rage stories and other stuff were hilarious, I don't know why but I didn't sign upto the forums until about May last year and I didn't start frequenting the General Forums til about September.
