Posted April 3, 200619 yr Not often would i consider making a thread here, let alone one about WWE. Was out with mates saturday at our local, they had football on, near closing time it had finished and smackdown came on after it, they had some advertisement about wrestlemania 22, and who was playing in it. Havent really watched wrestling for about 5 years, but it brought back a good few memories. So I decided to order it and some mates came round to watch. Yes i do know wrestling is for the most part fake and has some god awful "acting", but the reason i post this is that i do wonder if there are some others on here who watched it. Those who did will have seen the match between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon. It was the best match of the evening, and amazingly enough, for the most part, the fighting was real. Dont know if there's any video clips up on the net yet of it, but it was pretty awesome to watch. (for those who watched it) Discuss

April 3, 200619 yr yeh that crap is just a guy getting slapped and falling down holding his face while getting uo to let the other guys do some stupid throw on him for example: guy1 slaps guy2 guy2 falls down and rolls to the corner in 'pain' guy1 walks over and climbs on the railing thingy and jumps on guy2 who has all the time in the world to recover from his painful slap and roll away as guy2 tries to get up guy1 walk over to him and gives him an elbow to the back like a little pussy then guy3 comes along with a chair while his theme song played and he throws it at guy1 making him fall down in as moch pain as guy2 endured when he was slapped then guy3 goes on the stage and holds guy2 on the ground in some gay position and guy2 waits till the third second is almost up to tap the floor guy3 gets mad at the little ref and startes beating him just as guy2 picks up the chair and hits guy3 with it and he hold guy3 down for many seconds but the ref is to injured to get back up guy3 then turns over and get up and punches guy2 making him go down as soon as the ref recovers to smack the floor 3 times showing guy3's victory even though he wasnt in the original fight i have watched in total 3 fights of wrestling before as i was flipping thorugh channles and all of the were almost exactly like this but with a few more or less 'twists' in them in short wrestling is gay

April 4, 200619 yr I used to watch wrestling, when I was like 10. Even though it is fake as fuck, those guys still hafta be able to pick each other up, that is respectable IMO.

April 4, 200619 yr i actually enjoy WWE, watching RAW now anyways.. i didnt see it but i saw some clips and it looked really intense, the match between edge and mankind was pretty crazy as well i prefer UFC but they dont really update it to much, but the new show is coming on soon and Ken Shamrock is one of the coaches so that seems promising

I knew as soon as i read the first post you would get wiseguy cocksuckers moaning about its fake & people being in skimpy outfits but whatever. If all you do is focus on guys in thier outfits then whatever but if your a fan like me you dont give a shit really. Whoever saw that chairshot must have gone "FUCKING HELL" it dug right into vinces skull and he was bleeding really bad. The elbow from the 30ft ladder was a classic. DX Suck IT taunt, then the elbow FTW.

April 4, 200619 yr I dont really watch wrestleing anymore, but i still have hella respect for them. Yeah its fake, but to be able to "fight" for that period of time would be fucking hard. You have to be in so good of shape to perform on the basis they do.

Edge, Mick Foley match was pretty cool, some pretty much standard stuff though. Some of the weirdest shit eg- the whole fire table, mick doused in lighter fluid that doesn't light thing. The ladder match was pretty good, nothing too great really. Who the fuck is Finlay? Some random irish fuck with little to no crowd appeal, just the shitty irish gimmick...

The MITB match was so predictable, i knew RVD would win it due to the push's he has been getting. I'm sure he hasnt lost a match since his return. Flair fucking his knee looked legit, remember the guy is 60 years old and proberly tougher than every member on this forum (not put together of course). I wasn't that surprised that edge took alot of bumps, remember all them TLC bumps and stuff, him falling off the top of the cage (summerslam vs the hardys) and stuff. Setting the table on fire was fucking excellent, and the barbedwire mr. socko was fucking excellent. He cut all litas mouth up with the barbed wire, fantastic. Overall i think WM20 still beats WM22. Apart from the McMahon vs HBK match.
