Posted April 4, 200619 yr I know I'm asking for trouble when I post this minor dilemma but I know I'll get some good responses so whatever, here I go: Myself and all my friends are going to Leeds Festival which is a big festival here in the UK. It just so happened I bought 3 tickets by accident because the site fucked up because the server was lagging out. Today I was talking to people about it at college and there was several people who didn't get tickets so I got high offers for the spare pair I have. I got home and it turns out a couple of my friends also didn't get tickets and now I'm expected to spare my tickets for face value even though I made a deal with a guy today. So I'm totally not sure what to do, my friends stepped up their offer but it's still not near what I've been offered by people at college. I am not the sort of person who breaks deals and I am skint so need the cash (the offers I've taken would pay off the debt for my ticket as well), but I want my friends to be at the festival so I'm not sure what matters more. I'm swaying towards sticking with my deal because I'm confident my friends will get hold of the tickets somehow and there are another batch set to go on sale nearer the time but they're highly unlikely to get those since they will sell out very quick. Any suggestions?
April 4, 200619 yr Tell em the highest bidder wins.... Well in all honesty I would take my friends and charge them the same price they cost me plus about 10 bucks more.....and I would make them provide transportation so I wouldnt have to pay gas money :naughtyd:

April 4, 200619 yr Friends first. Just make them pay face value and pay for food/gas/etc. If they don't like it oh well you can sell the tix for more money.

April 4, 200619 yr Well for one, the Leeds festival is utter shite. You wanna go to the Download Festival. More drugs, Alchahol and better bands playing. Sell them for stupidly high prices and then go to download!

April 5, 200619 yr of course sell them to the person you said you would and esp. because they are gonna spend the most and you agreed to it. money talks and you already told them yes. word is bond as well. it's not your responsiblity to give them to your "friend". if they are really a friend they would do it for you in a second if you needed them so just depends.
